Michelle “Shelly” Daigle, LPC, PMH-C, is a licensed professional counselor with certification in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, she holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Divinity from Claremont School of Theology.
Shelly brings over five years of clinical experience supporting individuals and families through perinatal mental health concerns, adoption-related transitions, and trauma recovery. She has specialized training in adoption competency through the Center for Adoption Support and Education, as well as EMDR therapy, doula support, and breastfeeding education. Her approach is trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and grounded in cultural humility.
Shelly works with clients navigating pregnancy and postpartum stress, early parenting, domestic violence recovery, and identity formation. She also supports individuals healing from religious trauma and spiritual abuse, drawing on her deep understanding of how faith, identity, and mental health intersect.
Before entering the counseling profession, Shelly spent 15 years in community leadership roles focused on counseling, advocacy, and supportive care. These experiences shaped her ability to lead groups, teach, and support people in moments of profound personal transformation.
She is also a parent to four children through adoption, bringing lived experience to her clinical work. Shelly is licensed to practice clinical mental health counseling in Louisiana (LPC #7998).
